Modern law practice can be filled with traps for unwary and negligent lawyers, and when something goes wrong the client can suffer a tremendous amount of harm. Often bad lawyers hurt innocent clients. Sometimes even good lawyers make mistakes when they get sloppy and aren’t paying attention. All too often a lawyer will make an innocent error that subsequently becomes much worse when the negligent lawyer starts lying to cover up his mistake.
