Employing Technology
These days, making effective use of technology is no longer really anything all that fancy or sophisticated; it’s just good common sense. Paperless document technology, efficient electronic organization, and other relatively basic information technology skills are now an essential part of our profession. Nonetheless, too many attorneys still don’t use technology as efficiently as they could.
Decades ago, technology provided a means for well-heeled big firms to gain an advantage over smaller ones. Today it does the opposite, leveling the playing field so that it no longer requires a large office full of associates and paralegals to provide top shelf litigation advocacy. At the Smith Law Practice we are selective about the matters we take on, and we apply our full attention to each of our cases. We believe that a small firm approach is uniquely appropriate for the times and for the type of practice we conduct.
