The Smith Law Practice is a litigation firm specializing in appellate practice, trial practice, and professional liability matters.

Nearly all of our cases come from referrals from other lawyers, and this website is designed with that focus in mind. You will not find any exaggerated boasts, catchy slogans, or slick marketing tools on these pages (not that there is anything wrong with that, but it’s just not what we do). Here you will find only a straightforward statement of who we are and what we do.

The underlying subject matter of much of our law practice is, in fact, law practice itself. We help other lawyers with appellate matters. We handle legal malpractice matters on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants, as well as defending other lawyers facing Bar complaints. We also represent ordinary people who have suffered catastrophic personal injuries, as well as businesses facing contentious disputes.
